Sunburn

Beach blonde girls on a colored towel. The murky water swirl and temper’s growl. Long exposure to the sun brings out the freckles. Sand ridden adolescents looking for girls to heckle. Heat takes your energy its down for a nap. Time for a picnic, check the lunch sack. Your time in the water turns your fingers to raisins. “Toes to the noes” or at least that’s the saying.
